At the newly launching BistroBar We are seeking an Experienced Front of House /Restaurant/ Bar Manager of a minimum of 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends to join our new team and deliver Artisan Style Coffees and Cocktail beverages. To assist with the daily operations of our BistroBar. The ideal candidate will have a background and passion in hospitality, food and Artisanal drinks, with strong leadership skills Bistrobar food style is very high quality freshly prepared pizzas and fresh daily deli items. with Italian Inspiration, complimented by premium coffee, wine and cocktails and drinks to the very highest standards.

The perfect candidate loves to work and lead cross-functionally, is able to think strategically and tactically, enjoys testing and iterating, has previous experience managing a small team, has a relentless drive, passion, and will roll up his/her sleeves to execute flawlessly and lead by example.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Head Barista
  • A good knowledge of spirits and cocktails
  • A passion for and extensive knowledge of food and wine
  • Social Media
  • Handling customer and employee complaints
  • Handling cashing up & float balancing
  • Self-motivated individual full of new ideas
  • Innovating and implementing new, seasonal drinks for the menu.
  • Setting recipes for new filters/espressos and cocktails , adjusting for taste and then communicating these with the owner and team.
  • Motivating the team and encouraging a passion for coffee, drinks, and exceptional customer service.
  • Prepared to work at least 5 days a week
  • Prepared to work over and above the call of duty
  • Hard working – prepared to roll up sleeves and get stuck in – leads from the front and by example
  • Good interpersonal skills and people management skills
  • Understanding of Profit and Loss in all areas of the business
  • Ability to set and follow budgets
  • A strong focus on sales
  • Good understanding of budgets and forecasts
  • Experience and ability to manage a team of staff

Responsibilities – This will include (this list is not exhaustive)

  • Maintaining and driving service standards in all areas of the business
  • Driving and developing brand story and maintaining brand identity
  • Assisting owner with Recruiting, training and developing teams
  • Using CRM software to build customer profiles, track visits and spends
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers, local business and regular customers
  • Reporting any complaints / notable comments / perceived issues / altercations
  • Creating new weekly / monthly drinks menus
  • Ensuring impeccable presentation of venue, staff and self at all times
  • Daily revenue reporting and general reporting
  • Ensuring all paperwork completed to company standards
  • Ensuring all licensing conditions adhered to.
  • Opening and closing as necessary

Salary: £26,000 – £30,160 Annually
